Play Apps on Chrome

They took their time, but Google has finally released the Dev channel update for the Acer Chromebook R11 which allows me to install apps from the Play Store (it's been available on the Asus Flip for some time).  Over a million Android apps, most of which will eventually run perfectly (fingers crossed) on my touch screen Chromebook.

Make a Map

Students can use Google Maps to create their own maps to illustrate locations they visited in the recent holidays, or places they'd like to visit if they could (based on popular spots for tourists to visit in Aotearoa).

Check out these simplified instructions here.  You may want to add more detail to them when using with your own students.
